Panasonic Toughbook G2 Keyboard Types

The Panasonic Toughbook G2 is a 2 n1 style computer which has a tablet that mounts to an optional keyboard dock that turns it into a traditional clamshell laptop. The tablet has an onscreen QWERTY keyboard while the keyboard dock comes equipped with a standard emissive backlit keyboard. and an optional rubber backloit Keyboard. STANDARD KEYBOARD

The standard keyboard for the optional Toughbook G2 dock is an emissive backlit keyboard with 82 keys. This keyboard incorporates a backlight that lights up the keys on the keyboard for easier nighttime viewing. The color of the backlight is selectable with four adjustable levels. The keyboard is also spill-resistant and meets MIL-STD-810G standards so it is also resistant to drop, shock, vibration, sand, dust, altitude, freeze/thaw, high temperature tactical, temperature shock, and humidity.

RUBBER BACKLIT KEYBOARD

The Optional Toughbook G2 dock is also available with a rubber backlit keyboard with caracteristics similar to the emissive keyboard. Like the emissive keyboard, the rubber keyboard incorporates a backlight that lights up the keys on the keyboard for easier nighttime viewing.
