Serial Port - Toughbook G3

The Toughbook G3 (mk1) doesn't have a built-in serial port. You can add a true serial (D-sub 9-pin) port with the True Serial Dongle xPAK (FZ-VSRG31U) in the top expansion area.

It can't be combined with the barcode reader, 2nd USB-A, 2nd LAN or MicroSDXC xPAKs, since they share the same area.

Panasonic's COM Splitter software is included for sharing a COM port between applications.
