Here are the processor options for the Dell Latitude 5420 Rugged:

• Intel Core i3-7130U (7th gen): dual-core, 2.7GHz, 3MB cache. Intel HD Graphics 620.
• Intel Core i5-6300U (6th gen): dual-core, 2.4GHz, 3MB cache. Intel HD Graphics 520.
• Intel Core i5-8350U (8th gen) vPro: quad-core, 1.7GHz, 6MB cache. Intel UHD 620, or optional AMD Radeon 540 (2GB) or RX540 (4GB).
• Intel Core i7-8650U (8th gen) vPro: quad-core, 1.9GHz, 8MB cache. Optional AMD Radeon 540 (2GB) or RX540 (4GB).

The processor is soldered to the motherboard and can't be upgraded. For more speed, choose an i5-8350U or i7-8650U model.
