Maximum RAM / Memory - Dell 5420 Rugged

The Dell Latitude 5420 Rugged has two DDR4 SODIMM slots and supports up to 32GB (2 x 16GB):

• DDR4-2400MHz with 7th/8th gen processors (DDR4-2133MHz with the i5-6300U)
• Factory options: 8GB, 16GB or 32GB

Because the RAM is in standard slots, it can be upgraded after purchase. Contact us for a memory upgrade.

Make sure you're running a 64-bit operating system. A 32-bit system can only use about 3GB of RAM.
