Panasonic Toughpad FZ-G1 Keyboard Types

The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-G1 has two keyboard options, the on-screen QWERTY keyboard and a keyboard dock. Here’s a breakdown of what’s available:

ONSCREEN QWERTY KEYBOARD

The Toughpad FZ-G1 includes an on-screen QWERTY keyboard with button volume and mute controls. There are also seven tablet buttons of which two of them can be user defined.

KEYBOARD DOCK

Also available is an iKey keyboard dock specifically designed for the Toughpad FZ-G1 (IK-PAN-FZG1-C1-V5). This rugged keyboard is resistant to dirt, dust, and spills. It is rated IP54.  Splashes of water and most liquids will have no harmful effect. It is made of industrial silicone rubber. The keyboard is a full QWERTY keyboard with an integrated touchpad. It also includes green backlighting and one external USB 2.0 port.
